About

I'm a lifelong photographer with special interests in natural-world and abstract photography. I also contribute to the public-science project, iNaturalist, and I've published recent photo-essays in Politics/Letters and The Journal of Wild Culture. My work emphasizes composition, color, and texture. When not taking pictures, I teach literature at the University of Pennsylvania.
